Color of your Day Yet Another Project Idea

The main idea of this project is to take captures of what an individual sees daily and from the color scala of the captures giving back an overall mixture of ones day. During some internet search we came accross with some surveys doing this out of ones mood, we are not sure yet how to develop this idea but here is an example Color of your day survey.

About Mood of Earth

What we had in mind previously was just a rotationg globe and change of colors in the predifened sections on it. However, determining the mood of globe also refers to the amount of activity that would be going on. Starting from this point of view, If a place is more active it should be some how visualized. For that reason, we wish to highlight active sites with solar flares like effect.
Moreover, the system cannot go one to one with social network that it would be using. It can be 10 to 30 minutes after the actual stuff happens but we can do it still as smoothly flowing animation. We do not want just a picture we want it to be viually satisfying.

I am not this video's biggest fan

For me seeing the world in pixels would be much more fun, i thing then our eyes would be like cameras that can do better zoom better focusing and also we would have the opportunity see what we like all the time. I thing i am not the biggest fan of this video but i may be for augmented reality.

Mood of USA from Twitter

We as a group had an idea to do mood mining on a Social Network Like twitter and fourSquare. And had came up with the name MoodEarth for our project candidate. However during our research we find something similar to what we had in our minds it is basicly using Twitter API to retrieve text along with location information and visualize the data. I can't say it is a tastefull work but still it is very close to our idea.

OsCar - a Computer Science approach

OScar is the first attempt to design an entire automobile (now also extended to other vehicles: bus, truck and motorcycle) using open source principles. The aim of the project is mainly to produce blueprints, using essentially open source CAD. The project is still far from producing a real car, but the progress has been continuous for some years. The OScar project should not be confused with the OSCar company (now known as Riversimple) devised by British engineer Hugo Spowers. "Taken from Wikipedia"
